In a thrilling Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Boston Celtics guard Derrick White etched his name into Celtics lore with a game-winning putback at the buzzer to secure a 104-103 victory over the Miami Heat. The win puts Boston on the cusp of making NBA playoff history and advancing to the NBA Finals.

With just eight minutes remaining, the Celtics trailed by a point when White came up with the game-saving play. A Heat turnover gave Boston possession, and Marcus Smart drove to the basket and drew two defenders. He then dished the ball to White, who put it back in off the glass just before the buzzer sounded.

The Celtics erupted in a frenzy of celebration, while the Heat were left stunned on the court. White's shot capped off a remarkable comeback for Boston, who trailed by as many as 14 points in the game. Jayson Tatum led the team with 30 points, while Jaylen Brown added 19 and White finished with 15.

The win gives the Celtics a 4-2 lead in the series, and they can clinch the Eastern Conference title and a berth in the NBA Finals with a victory in Game 7 on Sunday.
